Elder Darius Peterson, a prolific prophetic voice to the body of christ is a proud Georgia native. He embraced his faith at a tender age of seven when he accepted the Lord and received the Holy Spirit.

Elder Peterson was reared and raised in the admonition of the Lord by his beloved grandmother, who played a pivotal role in nurturing his foundation in holiness and instilling the Lord's guidance. Elder Peterson's journey led him to surrender to God's divine plan for ministry at a remarkably young age. In 2009, he delivered his inaugural sermon and obtained his ministerial license, guided by the mentorship of Bishop Kelvin D. Wells Sr. and Bishop James E. Hamilton. He later received ordination as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Roosevelt Dunn, becoming the valedictorian of his ordination class and the youngest Elder within the Jurisdiction of Colorado at that time, a clear testament to the divine hand at work in his life and ministry.

 

 

Throughout his spiritual journey, Dr. Peterson has served in various capacities within ministry, including Minister of Music, Senior Associate Minister, and Church Administrator/Chief Ministry Officer.

Elder Peterson is also well educated. He is a graduate of Bainbridge High School and pursued a remarkable academic journey, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/History, a Master's Degree in Education Administration & Supervision, an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and most recently, he earned his Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership.

 

Professionally, he now serves as an Assistant Principal and Instructional Leader, making history in education as a catalyst for change. Truly, he is a promoter of the Kingdom of God in the realm of education through advocacy and leadership.

 

 

In his personal life, Elder Peterson is married to his high school sweetheart, Lady Teena Jeffery-Peterson. Together, they share two gifts: Moriah Grace Peterson & Darius D. Peterson II.

Elder Peterson's multifaceted ministry, deeply influenced by the Holy Spirit, encompasses a passion for preaching the Word of God, an impactful teaching ministry, and a unique ability to release the glory of God. His overarching mission is to advance the Kingdom of God, grounded in his love for people and the Word of God. He is not only a teacher, mentor, motivator, and innovator but above all, a man wholeheartedly devoted to promoting God's agenda in the earth.
